Dissertation at Sea

Ok, it sounds good on the surface. The waves are flowing; the mind is flowing. But, when my traveling companion [who shall remain nameless] says on the 3^rd day, “don’t eat that you’ll get fat” immediately after she ate two chocolate chip cookies for breakfast ... it has the capacity to get on my nerves and take the mind away from academic pursuits. Hell, I am going to chill out in the hot tub.
